Measurements
The
measurements you provide to us will be used to make an initial
estimate. All measurements are verified with an on-site
measurement by one of our staff. To assist you we have provided
a
Measurement Form
and an
Estimate Form.
Simply click on the name of the form you would
like and print it for your use.
Before you start take time to consider……
Appliances
Decide the area of the counter top location. Do the existing
appliances remain? Will new ones be installed? How does this
change your layout?
Sinks
Is a new kitchen sink to be added? Will there be a change in the
layout of your sinks?
Cabinetry
If your cabinetry is not being changed, it will be easiest to
draw your existing layout.
Then……
Measure the length and width of your countertops with a tape
measure. You should begin at one end and measure the entire
length of the top. If your cabinet is in a corner, measure the
length to the inside wall corner. Then measure the depths of all
counters from the back wall to the front edge of the countertop.
Curved Counters?
Yes, we are able to create curved stone sections for you.
Please remember that our field technician will make a final
drawing for approval before any fabrication begins.
Your Estimate
After receiving the measurements, we will submit a preliminary
estimate based on your sketches. If you wish to make changes we
will revise the estimate for you.
On-Site Measurements and Final Quote
A time for an on-site measurement by one of our staff will be
scheduled. You will then have a formal drawing and our final
quotation submitted to you for your approval.
